Lahe Lahe is a community space created especially to give you moments of peace and happiness through personal expression. Located in Bangalore, it is your home away from home where you can just sit back, grab a warm cup-a-joe and rekindle with the good things in life.
Founded on April 1, 2016 by husband-wife duo, Nikhil Thard (Founder of Edifice Labs) and Mansee Shah Thard along with theatre artist Nithya Rao and Oliver Normandin, Lahe Lahe was was started as a genre-agnostic space with a 3-day launch where all forms of expressions - art, theatre, yoga, dance, music, pottery were celebrated with the participation of about 300 people.
An Assamese phrase which literally translates to ‘slowly slowly’, Lahe Lahe is a reminder that life is meant to be lived fully and not rushed through. It is your ever-welcoming, comfort spot in the city where you form real connections, bond over creating a clay pot, taking dance lessons, discussing your favourite books/movies or those countless anecdotes.
It’s perfect for all kinds of people - whether you are a closet singer, an amatuer artist or just someone who is looking for reassurance even if you’re an expert . Here, you learn to celebrate the uniqueness that shines through in all of us and value our imperfections for they make us who we are. The space let’s you be you, be flawsome and tells you to always, express yourself.

Chief Evangelist & Co-founder
‘Karta Dharta’ of the space, Mansee is a mother and a communication professional turned social entrepreneur. She leads by example of self-growth and is often learning new skills at/ beyond Lahe Lahe. She enjoys Writing, dancing and has new found love for Theatre for Change (Playback and Forum)
Community Manager
Shashwat is the face and voice of Lahe Lahe. He is our chill, behind-the-scenes guy who ensures the smooth functioning of the space and thrives in being surrounded by creativity.
Design Curator
An artist herself, Priya enjoys painting, calligraphy and essentially making things look good. At Lahe Lahe, she has designed the interiors and conceptualised the overall visual experience.
Resource Manager
Lata brings the best of people together to join the family. She’s a mother, and a crafter, who enables independent artists by showcasing their products at Heart Bazaar, our merchandise corner.
Pottery Studio Curator
Betsy adds the ‘artsy vibes’ to the space through her creativity and passion for ceramics. She is our full of life, go-to-buddy who ensures everyone around her has a good time.
Asst. Community Manager
Also known as Manager of Vibes, Twinkle loves interacting with people and makes sure their comfort is never compromised at Lahe Lahe. A gifted singer, she dreams of healing people by building something of her own, one day.
Community & Admin- Lahe Lahe Halli
Priyanka is a fitness enthusiast and a multitasking mother of twin-toddlers. Managing the Lahe Lahe Halli community at Yelahanka gives her a sense of purpose and lets her improve herself each day.

A graphic-designer, a photographer and a painter, Kiran contributed through her creativity and passion for expressions. She continues to volunteer and conduct art-workshops at Lahe Lahe.

Sandhya is a dedicated and hardworking individual who believes in growing through constant learning. She handled the admin & IT requirements of the growing Lahe Lahe community.
Content Curator and In-house Therapist
Mansee deeply believes in the curative powers of rainbows, spotting heart shaped signs and the joy of discovering one’s own deeply buried treasure, the Sacred Intuition. She is passionate about lopsided words, unexplained moments of mysticism and empowering people into coming into their own.

Our focused, most dedicated team member helps us keep our finances together. He is really our backbone and inspiration.
Volunteer
A theater and art enthusiast herself, Shraddha likes to balance her time between work and fun as a volunteer for Lahe Lahe. Though a full time therapist for kids with autism, you can certainly find her in our boardgame events or with the play-backer troop. She also facilitates movie screenings to create awareness for Mental Disabilites.
Former Cafe Manager
Our multi-talented rock star was the one who set up our first cafe in santhe. Now a full time content writer and theater enthusiast, Siddharth continues to volunteer and help us out from time to time.
